friday 14th - 30 minute TT - 8,806m, 30 spm, 1:42.2 Av. Was aiming for <1:42.0 but still happy with a 53m improvement. Still feeling rough after it though, think it has made me ill.

First attempts today:<br><br>Mum - 7,459m - 31 spm, getting back up to speed after a little lay off!<br>Ash - 7,918m - 22 spm, Getting back up to speed after a big lay off! Aiming for 8,800m eventually, probably gonna do one a day faster each time.

First day back on the UT1 stuff, boy did it feel laboured!<br><br>first attempt for 30 minute challenge - 7,918m @ 22 spm. Dont worry, i'm building it up! Hope to get to 8800+ in 10 days time.

dont want to do a 2k until manchester/boston, so:<br><br>My vote for challenge 5 is for 10 x 1500 with 1 minute rest.<br><br>Mums vote is for a 10k unrestricted.

Used rowpro for the first time today to do a gentle 1k. Cant say im impressed so far, it managed to lose all the data and froze twice. Will try and race online in the next couple of days.

If you do it to your potential I would say the 10k. 30 minutes at your anaerobic threshold, and then a hike into lactic valley for 2 minutes, swimming in the lactic river for 2 minutes, and then finally falling over the edge of lactic falls, and landing on lots of sharp rocks.

Perhaps the other way round, i.e jump 2 secs/500m at above 2k pace starting at +6, and then going 1 sec/500 quicker below.
