If you take three sessions out of the Pete Plan it's not the Pete Plan any more. The best thing you can do with your three weekly erging sessions during your 'off' season is as much low rate distance work of 60 minutes or more duration as possible.

Excel is very good at calculating times. If you want to add times in minutes and seconds just enter them in the required format, e.g. 01:50.0 (mm:ss.0). You can then add, subtract, multiply, average etc. without further ado. You don't have to apply a format to the cells as Excel assumes it's a time ...

An All In One (AIO) works best. The 'vest' being connected to the shorts has the effect of hoisting your tackle upwards. As Dougie says cycling shorts are good but go for the 'bib' type to get the same effect.
