Re: Help with goal
Just read the posts, last week I decided this bit of kit won't beat me. So set gopro up and filmed a few strokes, looks like I was pulling a tad to early. I've started to use it for 5 min a day and gunna add 5 min each 2 weeks (upto 30min) If not comfortable then increase by 2 min. I've set my indoo...

Re: Help with goal
No help from any rowing club, so I'm thinking of selling my rower and opting for a Wattbike instead. Don't need a coach or set up for that, just a shame, was kind of excited to try rowing on water but obviously its just for the chosen and elite athletes. Something is wrong in my rownig technique as ...

Re: Help with goal
Two visits to local rowing club (LVRC) and after four or five E-mails, no reply's, absolutely no help at all! Seems like its a closed sport. Looks like its Dark Horse tutorials and hope for the best!

Re: Help with goal
There is a local rowing club near me in the docks, may see if I can get 1hr with a coach and nail the form, done this with swimming, running and a bike fit, all paid dividends.

Re: Help with goal
Thanks for advice, decided to leave this challenge on the shelf for now and opting to do this instead. https://thepeteplan.wordpress.com/beginner-training/ Great advice, guess by waking up today and having no doms/stiffness I haven't got correct techniques yet. Will film myself and compare to concep...

Re: Help with goal
Point taken, I will film myself and compare to the videos, today felt comfortable no aches or pains. So your saying I need to drive harder and slow down? I was just using medium force at what seemed a comfortable pace. Not sure what 2W/kg is and where I can see it on erg data. Thinking maybe bin thi...

Re: Help with goal
Hi, I've changed profile so you can see it, I do a fairly heavy manual job so getting on the rower shouldn't be a problem. The 138bpm was from back when I started out seemed to be the best HR for endurance work.

Help with goal
Hi all, I'm new to this rowing scene, getting back to some sort of fitness level I'm used to. I previously trained and entered Triathlon/Ironman events but not done a tap for 3yrs, today was my 1st go on the rower, I've set myself a physical and mental goal of 10,000m for 30 days. https://log.concep...

Re: PM5 - swapping a Bikeerg model to a Rowerg
That's what a forum is about, no point just joining, asking and not following up. If people take the time to reply to me, I will and have always reported my results, good or bad! that way we all benefit ten fold!

PM5 - swapping a Bikeerg model to a Rowerg
Hi All, I picked a PM5 up from my local gym that has come off an erg bike, i want to install this on my rower to replace the PM3. Can it be reset so that the screen will be set up for the rower? At the moment it says just ride, needs to be just row and then upload what ever firmware update it needs ...
