I used something heavier, but had the same sort of problem. I discovered that I could get the right weight depending on exactly where I set the weight on the scale.

I will try using Ergzone next time, as can automatically set the intervals for the training plans I will use (Rowalong). Much less tedious than programming them manually on the PM5.

I'm a massive fan of Ergzone and I find it far more user friendly.
