RowPro etc ...
I have been searching the forum for suggestions on row-racing software for the Mac (eg RowPro). I find a lot of older information, but as yet haven't found a recent comparison of the products available now. Would anyone be able to either point me to a recent and relevant discussion, or share their t...

Re: 2025 World Rowing Indoor Championships
Can someone please advise on what hardware and firmware you should be using for this event? My PM5 has Hardware: 131, Firmware: 459.003. When I go onto the race website, I am advised I am using Beta software which is not ideal for racing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. These two links provi...

Re: 2025 World Rowing Indoor Championships
I did the 12am test race ... total panic about three minutes before the start when I was disconnected ! Not sure where the problem was. They delayed the race start a couple of minutes (probably not just for me) and I got reconnected. Anyone else in that race get disconnected? I'm very glad to have h...

Re: 2025 World Rowing Indoor Championships
Thanks. I Just tried that. Unfortunately I get the same result.gregory.cook wrote: ↑February 4th, 2025, 2:53 pmI used something heavier, but had the same sort of problem. I discovered that I could get the right weight depending on exactly where I set the weight on the scale.
And just tried with a borrowed 5kg weight - which reads 4.8kg.

Re: 2025 World Rowing Indoor Championships
I see that for the Continental Heats Lightweight weigh-in it states: A labelled test weight in kilograms or equivalent (such as a dumbbell or weighted plate) being placed on the digital scale to be used, with a clear reading of the weight indicated on both the test weight and the digital scale readi...

Re: 2025 World Rowing Indoor Championships
While I agree that attending is worthwhile for anyone vaguely competitive (I attended 8 races and was only not last 3 times!). That is not how I read the criteria, there are 150 places for lightweight men then another 10 for 70 + LWt men. So that would be 7:12 for the first 150 LWts (although I am ...

Re: 2025 World Rowing Indoor Championships
This is the first year I consider this and I read that for 2025 there are " World Open Heats, Continental Knockout Heats, Elimination Semi-Finals, and Grand Finals ". Only the fastest rowers get from the World Open Heats to the Continental Knockout Heats, etc. It is what I mean by " qualify ". That ...

Re: 2025 World Rowing Indoor Championships
Hi. Is it possible to obtain a link to the times from the World Open Heats of 2023 that qualified for the Continental Knockout Heats ? I would like to get a rough idea of the qualifying pace I would need to row for the 2000m mens’ lightweight 70+ category , before I decide to enter the championship...

World Rowing Virtual Indoor Sprints - March 2022
Hello, I will give the World Rowing Virtual Indoor Sprints a go this week. What happens if I row a 1,000m sprint on one day in the competition period (9 to 13th March 2022) and then on a later day in the competition period I row a faster 1,000m. Does my faster time automatically get used or just my ...

Re: New member, data sync questions.
But, I was worried that if I didn't answer fast enough, it would assume I had finished and disconnect Ergdata, Single times and timed intervals (50 max) continue until we stop them, even if we pull just one stroke. Single time can also be used for any interval session, by setting a short split time...
