I'd look on the way your knees are when you bike and when you walk.
Previous surgeries to the knees ?
New shoes?
Do you strap in your shoes or are they loose on the pedal?
It might just be your meniscus getting old and thats where its worn first.

Re: Back Pain
I had this problem early last year when I started doing more volume. My solution was to strenghten core muscles and activating the abdominal muscles more. Also get someone to check your hinge movement. This summer i suffered a herniated disc, but I had not been training for 6 weeks due to illness be...

Re: RowErg/SkiErg/BikeErg Triathlon Transition Glitches
I've run into this.
#1 Update all your PM5's to latest firmware
#2 Wired connections ( If Polar H10 / ANT connections )
#3 Updated phone
#4 If all else fails. Reset bluetooth cache on phone. Android 12 problem for sure.
#5 Contact Concep2 support.

Custom Ergathlon?
As a feature I'd like to see the possibility to make custom ergathlon ( Ski, Row, Bike) exercises. This could be done with Concept2 Utility. I'm frequently doing Sprint ( 2k row, 4k bike, 2k ski) and love it, but 15 cal each with 4 reps or some variation thereof would be nice. I am aware I can do th...

Re: Skierg and back pain
I'd like to give this an update. The reason for back pain was definitively too high volume with too little muscles being ready for that volume. I have in the meanwhile focusing on lower back core exercises and have no pain whatsoever. I am doing a fair bit of deadlift / squats as pure strength exerc...

Re: Skierg and back pain
I suspect the volume was too high ( intensity not due to hr control).
I tuned down to 2k sessions and pain gone.

Re: Skierg and back pain
I've had lower back pain on and off for over 20 years due to a work related incident. I have some amount everyday depending on how I sleep and other factors. That said I experience no lower back pain using the skierg. Yours might be related to trying to keep you back too flat and bending at the wai...

Skierg and back pain
I am a fairly new Skierg user. 38 years old with a background in crossfit, but last 10 years kids and a hectic job has gotten the better of me and I'm now officially well and far into overweight with 30% body fat. My motivation for training is not actually weight loss ( this comes at the k itchen), ...
