Re: Row/Run/Bike training plan
I would keep rowing as 2 x intervals as the running and biking both seem like medium and / or easy efforts? Apologies if I'm wrong, but those distances suggest to me that you'll have to go a bit slower, and you can really thrash out the erg sessions I would say both of my sessions ine running and c...

Hey (sorry for my english) I use to practice (approx per week): - 2x 10km running - 2x 45min (or 2x sessions) rowing - 1 bike session (between 30 km and 100 km). But i don't have any plan for the whole... I have begun to integrate Beginner Pete's Plan, but there are3 sessions, and if i want to add r...

Re: Everyday training
By improving my stats i mean improve my 10k at running and my 5k at rowing. Those are my two preferred trainings and kinda my personal reference for improvement. Last few years i was focusing on rowing so yeah i went quite hard doing half marathons and trying to low my 5k time, but i want to diversi...

Re: Everyday training
Honestly i am not a pro at all. I am 36M, with a 9-5 desk job with no kid, but with a good general shape. So i won’t ever participate to any competition but i want to improve my stats regularly and stay in a good shape with aging so i don’t want to make brainless trainings which can affect my body i...

Everyday training
Hey, Before, rowing was my only sport with a routine and occasionally made other sports, but this year i am adding running, climbing ans biking in my weeks. I want rowing to be « just » a soft training that i can put on a morning routine in addition to other sports. What kind of training would you a...

Personnal plan advices
Hey, (Hi from France, sorry for my english) As an amateur, and as an engineer (not in sport), i like to play with numbers to build myself some personnal plans. It always has been difficult to me to follow pre-existing plans, even if i am 100% sure they are better than mine... But whatever, I think i...

Re: Complementary exercises for rowing
Hi, 35 yo, 1m78 and 85kg here, also sedentary job. Rowing is not mainly cardio. It’s strength work also. Not as hard as a real strength workout, but still. It’s a resistance exercise, so naturally your body will gain strength. The big plus is that rowing is low impact, which means that even at 60-70...

Re: Only training on the indoor rower
Hi! You will see many papers on which muscles are working while rowing. From what i read, only elliptical bike makes more muscles work, but rowing is quite a whole body killing machine. After my first 100% indoor rowing year, i can say my whole body transformed, more athletic, better sleep, metaboli...

I don’t understand what does « Double diamond » means in Concept2 screenshots of curves? Is it good? Or bad?

Double registred trainings
Hi! I use to always connect my Ergdata with bluetooth during my training, but yesterday i couldn't, so i had to use Concept2 Utility on my MAC to upload my training. I didn't take too much attention to what i did, because normaly it doesn't import double entry, but this time it imported alla my 2023...

Re: Pacing advice please
It’s too late to reconsider your habites. I would say a 5k must be rowed on a solid 22-23 spm, even 25 spm for competition, but not 28 spm.
But if you have some habites with 28 spm, just follow your mind. For a competition, i would lower drag factor by 5 (from 135 to 130 for example).
Nice trial!

Impressive! Quite in your same age/height etc but different results !
(7:28 is my PB). Do you have an athlete history before?
