In addition to uninstalling the USB device, have you tried uninstalling concept 2’s ergdata, clean any residual registry entries (using utilities such as Ccleaner), reboot, then reinstall ergdata, right-click an install as ‘administrator’, and see if the drivers correctly load?

If you go to system/device manager and select, view ‘hidden devices’, then right-click uninstall the suspect device(s) that are generating an error, and delete any like-kind devices (USB, HID) that we're previously hidden from the same view. Then reboot windows and your OS should reload the devices,...

I’ll give that a go. My creaking came back.

Rowed the 200K Christmas challenge with zero creaks (outside of my aging joints)
Unless I remove the tape, it’ll continue to be “permanent”

Similar creaking - most irritating, especially since it sounded like it was originating from different locations on my erg’s sled and seat.
