I give blood every 8 weeks and notice that I need about a week to recover back to expected training levels.

Posted a 10K PB about a month ago of 41:53. Played with some negative splitting today and knocked off 11 seconds. First 5k was a 2:07 pace, next 3k was 2:04, then increased the pace over the last 2k. Thanks for the reply - I've been rowing all 5 sessions since week 1.
I guess a better question to ask is - if my training is geared more for general health and higher levels of fitness, and not to race, is the Pete Plan the best course for a beginner?
