Re: Program to work up to5k

How do I see distance per stroke? With erg data is the average force or peak force meaningful? Is there a way to post form pics on here? 5’3” 170 pounds. 38 years old. Pacing was Somewhat consistent. Drag factor was probably a little low at 100 Pace varied from 3:05/500m to 3:13/500. Avg was 310 Str...

Storing the erg question

Maybe a dumb question. Is it better to store my rower upright with the rail attached or to remove the rail everyday ? Was concerned that removing and reattaching everyday was extra wear and tear but don’t know how that compares to the stress on the joint with the rail sticking up in the air?

Thanks

Primarily out of breath and fatigued with genera muscle fatigue Legs back and arms You have already received excellent advice, but I think you could get better advice if you explain what is stopping you from doing a 5k right now. Are you stopping because you are out of breath? Are you stopping becau...

Program to work up to5k

Had my C2 for about a week now. Completed 5 workouts with dark horse program. Trying to figure out a plan on where to go from here. Today’s the workout was a 15 min row at 22spm and it was very challenging for me. Made it 2600m in that time. Was thinking about that beginner Pete plan based on feedba...

iPad mount option

Is there a cheaper option to mount an iPad to the C2 rower other than the one they sale?

I don't think it's boring if I do it with a class (on zoom these days) or follow along with a video workout and focus on technique or whatever goals of the day you have. But it feels very boring sometimes if I just do it on my own.
What youtubes videos are good to work along with for a beginner?

new to rowing C2 on the way, lots of questions

37 male, overweight and not in great shape. Most regular exercise is chasing/running around the yard with the kids and bike rides with the kids. Decided now was the time to get in shape and remember the rower being one of my favorite workouts in college. Seemed like a good way to burn a lot of calor...
