Had ago of the CTC. Man, that was difficult in this heat!

Today I have completed my first ever full marathon. Took me 3hr 45mins. 15 mins longer than I expected. Had to take a couple of stretching breaks! I'm in so much pain now, feel like I've been run over! Glad I did it though. I think it will be a long time before I do that again!

Celebrated a year on the erg last Tuesday. Had a weigh in to see how much I've lost in that time, and I'm now officially a lightweight! Lost approximately 10kg!

I have the radio on in the background and concentrate on the PM.

I started on the erg last May, just to keep fit in the lockdown. I usually do 3 x 40 min sessions, 1 HIIT session and 1 1hr session per week. I have cut out ready meals, and now snack on mixed nuts instead of sweets, crisps etc. I've lost about 8 kg.
