Re: A Few Weeks Into My Journey
Quick brag, I'm over 800K meters rowed and down 45 pounds. More importantly, I don't feel like I'm on a "diet" and I love my workouts. ...so I know there are 1000 posts about how to get into the proper zones for the best weight loss (or whichever goal you choose). I'm not putting those down AT ALL....

Re: Life jacket
Last November it was a warm day so I went out rowing on the Agawam river in Wareham MA When I came in I noticed that a uniformed officer from Fish and Game was on the shore waiting for me at the take out and when I got in he asked me if I had a PFD (life preserver) I told him no and repeated what h...

Re: Stand Up Paddling (SUP)
Yeah those work pretty good. A buddy of mine had one and I got to use it a few times. I think it's pretty good for a warm up before working out as well.dcpattie wrote: ↑February 28th, 2017, 12:36 pmI'm not aware of an adaptor for the skierg; however, there is one for the C2 Rowing Ergometer: https://paddleboardsurf.com/

Re: Canoeing
A quick online search found these guys, who make adapters to convert a rower (and alternatively, a skierg) into a paddling training device. I have no idea how well they work: https://www.paddlesporttraining.com/ Wow! That's a interesting contraption. I've never seen a paddle adapter that can be hoo...

Re: Struggling with fat, what am I doing wrong?
Hi everyone, I suppose you are all bored with topics like this one "I train a lot but I am not losing fat", however, I am so desperate that I have to ask for other's opinions. I am a 20y old student and I am rowing for my university. As a child and during puberty I was always plump and fatty. In 20...

Re: New Deadlift Record 501kg
Haffthor Bjornsson takes Eddie Hall's WR by 1kg! He was reputedly going to go for 520kg or 530kg afterwards but called it a day. 501kg came up OKish....so maybe Thor deliberately left some headroom OR the 501kg was harder than he thought. Hmmmm..... https://twitter.com/RogueFitness/status/125662979...

Re: Knees popping
Been using Model D for about a month, and finding my knee popping or clicking at the catch. No pain, just concern I'm doing damage. Any advice? Both my knees pop without pain too. I'm not sure why. Kinda weird to hear them pop, but at least there is no pain, so that's good. There are probably diffe...
