Re: new seat rollers

Wrench wasn't used for this.. Tried both Nuts and neither would tighten further than this. Either there was manufacturing fault or this is the new design as concept says. Either way.. These nuts weren't going tighter trust me..

Re: new seat rollers

Thanks for your reply. Neither bolt tightened any tighter than the one pictured.. Both the bolts and nuts came with the new seat. The old seat was totally threaded. The new nuts have a kind of plastic thread inside. I think they are only meant to screw this amount. I will call concept today and check

new seat rollers

http://www.nathandavis.site/rollers.jpg Today I received my new seat and rollers from concept.. No instructions included but I found them online. Either I am going crazy or the bolt on the left of the attached picture doesn't screw in all the way.. This confused the hell out of me as my old seat ha...

Re: Remove seat?

Thanks Cyclist.. I was able to remove my old seat eventually.. Was a nightmare though.. One bolt wouldn't come off so the back stand couldn't be completely removed.. Gonna post a new thread about the new seat.. Found the instructions not great

Re: Remove seat?

Omg just had a total nightmare. Feel like crying. Slightly misread these instructions I was trying to fix a rocking seat. Took wrong bolt off took ages to come off and when it did it wouldn’t go back on properly and appears threaded. This is the bolt that hold one of the rollers that go underneath t...

toes curling upwards involuntarily

Hi guys. Wanted to check whether this has happened to any of you.. I can be lying in bed or on the sofa and my wife will notice I am curling my toes (towards me rather than away from me. Mainly big toes). I have heard this can be from tight calves from rowing which I almost certainly have.. Any advi...

Re: Chilblains ("COVID-toes") due to staying at home

Early on dubbed "COVID-toes" https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/01/health/coronavirus-covid-toe.html but later found to be not directly linked to COVID infection: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7239780/ and found to be basically the result of staying at home, barefoot or in socks in cold...

I've never seen that doing intervals with Ergdata. But I've not rowed since March 16th.
What happened? Everything okay?
There's been a small lockdown here in the UK and I've not ventured near the gym since March.
Yeah thats why I had to buy my own concept2!

That's not how it works in the intervals between reps.

Don't you just love the consistency.
Do you want me to make a video of the backlight during reps ? It does exactly the same thing as there is no activity

Re: pm5 backlight timer...

Is the backlight timeout something you are looking to rectify with later firmware updates cause it’s really impossible to row intervals when the backlight keeps turning off Hi It is something we've tweaked in firmware releases since the main priority is to prevent too much battery drain when the fly...

Re: pm5 backlight timer...

From concept2

The backlight will only be active for about 10 secs if there is no activity, therefore you can either push a button or pull the handle for the monitor to remain in an active zone.
