Re: What Training Have You Done Today?
Not sure if we should put ski erg training in here as well? I've been doing a few crossfit type sessions to mix it up, and had my second go at a 5K, with, every 2 mins, a set of 5 bench presses. The Aussie rules say 'press your bodyweight' which for me at 95kg is not going to happen, so I use 70kg. ...

Re: Skierg pb thread
Followed up my 30 min PB the other day with a 5K PB today. Managed 2:04.5. Pleased as I still haven’t followed a training programme as such, so just gritted it out. Would be great to get closer to 2:00 pace one day, find this a real mental challenge.

Re: Skierg pb thread
Did my first HM on a ski erg yesterday (so by definition a PB!). Managed 2:26.7 pace, which was more of a mental ordeal. Felt OK afterwards, legs a little sore today. I would like to build up to a FM but would need a lot of distractions to offset the monotony. Any tips welcome.

Re: Rowing after blood clot in leg
Hi - I had clots in both pulmonary arteries in 2005. Apparently they found them just in time. After a couple of weeks of Heparin injections, they put me on long-term Warfarin. Rowing was probably what saved me before the diagnosis, as I was getting v breathless for no obvious reason. They scanned me...
