Just to let everybody know who’s interested.. the new Polar H10 strap worked brilliantly. Straight out of the box. So the problem was probably an old broken Garmin cheststrap.

Thank you. I have ordered one and will try to reinstall the latest software on my PM5.

Thx. Tried new batteries and Getting the same problem with Garmin. The Tikr Fit is maybe because it’s swinging back and forth on my arm from the PM5 whilst rowing. and will now buy a new strap or new H10 Polar strap. What’s peoples opinion of the Polar H10?

Running new 172 software and both my long time rock solid Garmin HeartRate strap and Tickr Fit are connecting but read very low HR numbers when warmed up and then both drop out or ...
