there's a difference between stroke rate and "boat" speed, aka pace.
This should printed out in LARGE font & posted where every newby can read it during their erging workouts.

All the time I have had it very occasionally the settings will switch mid row from Models C to Model D.
Didn't know this was a thing. Hope you get it sorted out.

Re: A Comfortable Seat

Id be on the bigger side and was having nitemares with the seat. Got an endurerow, wasnt any good. Then invested in the ProW. Worth every penny. I did screw the C2 seat backnon to use with it. Never tried it on the endurerow, which itself i was very disappointed with. But that ProW, well thank god ...

I'm always working on maintaining the correct, proper form. Always! You could say I'm obsessive about it.

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

A month ago I crashed while dodging a crossover that turned right in front of me and cracked a couple of ribs in the bargain. Been on the indoor trainer after resting for a week. I probably won't touch the erg until June. Got in 2hrs @ 300w (4w/kg) and a cool down today. HR was just about the top o...

My preference is for viewing TV programs that would appeal to the kindergarten mentality.....Three Stooges, classic Looney Tunes cartoons, etc.

Re: New season

If you look at your season summary, there is an option to show the meters rowed weekly. Because the number of days in a year is not a multiple of 7, the day of the week on which May 1 falls varies. If you line up the weeks with a calendar, in the first and last weeks of the year, you may not have a...

Re: Sore wrists

Eric, glad to hear your wrists are better. I would've guessed that the volume, intensity of your other activities were the source of your problems since your skierging is such a minor part of your workouts. Glad that you figured it out.

Re: New season

I'm lost. Someone please explain to this hick kid from a jerk water town in the country why it matters whether the week has 2 day vs 7 or starts on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday? May 1st is what it is, irregardless of day of the week or length of the week. Simple explanations appreciated, none of thu...

Re: Getting Started

You shouldn't worry about your erg turning into a useless pile of scrap metal. Just follow the recommended service schedule recommended by C2. Your erg won't be subject to the heavy use & outright abuse & neglect that a gym erg is. Lotta damned idjits with single digit IQs who think their gym member...

Assuming you're on a Mod C, D or E...& you're hitting the handle on the chain guard? I agree with Dougie...must be your technique....unless you have the proportions of an orangutan? All kidding aside, post a video of your erging on youtube & post the link here. Re: Recovery from broken arm and rowing?

Thanks. I'm starting off and recovering from a broken arm so I was planning on taking things easier than I would normally do. I'm a kind of push it hard exerciser with things like rowers. Years ago when i developed leg pain with the gym c2 rowers I switched to steppers and did a set number of floor...
