Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread

I think you have to log out, log in again on the main site, search for CTC, then a weird result pops up "ROW31 2024 DAY 2", open this search result and find a link to CTC site below that. If you click that link, the CTC site will open with your login and you will be asked to set your weight class a...

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread

Then click the link and there's a URL at the bottom of the page (https://ctc1.insideindoor.com/mp?mp=4233). Congratulations, you just managed to complete the 2k challenge in 8 minutes! This link is for your account, and while i thought i would be submitting a score for me it ended up submitting a s...

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Also couldn't find it on the regular site navigation, probably it's only added in the menu from tomorrow on. As far as I understood, every user has to register themselves, as you need an account for each of them. Based on this account/login the entry is done - so you don't need to select an...

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread

For me the above link is working, I can see the same CTC list like on the old site. Have you registered and are logged in?
I can find it on the link but not from within the new site. Yes I am logged in. I am unsure if all my team need to register themselves so I will wait for the full post ...

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread

Try this URL: https://insideindoor.com/?s=CTC&tcb_sf_post_type%5B%5D=post&tcb_sf_post_type%5B%5D=page Sign up. Then click the link and there's a URL at the bottom of the page (https://ctc1.insideindoor.com/mp?mp=4233). Ultimately http://c2ctc.com should re-direct to the new site - but that won't ha...

Same for me, but I assumed it will get online on the 1st of March, so decided to wait for the mail with more detail on that day.

Yes good point I should have done that.

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread

@everyone Attention! The CTC is moving to a new site on 1st March 2024. The old site will no longer accept entries. https://insideindoor.com You will need to go there and register yourself an account. A slightly more detailed post will follow on Thursday explaining the sign up steps, if it isn’t ob...

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread

The PaddyPower CTC for February is: Sprint Sandwich 1500m r1' 200m r1' 200m r1' 200m r1' 200m r1' 200 m r1' 1500m. with no stroke restrictions and moving starts allowed for all but the opening 1500m. Enter the total time for the 4km of work intervals. Love it - we will get on with this today. Ian

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread

Re: Injury potential, while no one said "all out sprint", many teams will try to maximize their scores and get a leading boat. I expect that the pace on this will be maybe 10 splits faster for me than an all-out 30r20, and that I will need to be very aware of my back. Just as I was for the recent 2...

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread

This part is not clear for me, The whole piece has to be done at Max 20SPM (If one interval is out then the piece is invalid but as per the rules it is the average SPM in each interval that counts). as there is no average in a single interval.
Good point re ave on one interval. Yes, I think...

I have been a member of the CTC for over 15 years (maybe even 20) ...
The CTC started in December 2005 so it's exactly eighteen years old this month.
and a great thing it is.

Thanks for clarification.

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread

My members haven't liked some of the previous choices but I was under the understanding that the variety is what makes this interesting and I have never seen such a discussion about a group's choice before. I understand we might need clarification at times but I feel this is going beyond that. FWIW...

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread

I am at a total loss as to why our nomination for Jan 24 is so problematic. So am I. It's your session, it's your choice, it's your rules (within the limits of the CTC). Thank you - I am a little surprised at the responses but have to accept that it is a little quirky. I hope that once people give ...

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread

Think you need to stick with the 250s. Changing it now after I’ve announced it in the Facebook group just looks silly. Just needed clarification on overrating one or any of the reps, which you’ve given. I think they’ll be a lot of invalid efforts where people accidentally go to rate 21. Lastly, you...
