Woo woo! Got it on the second try today....but so very barely. 1:29.7.

Well Shoot.... 500m is HARD! My first 4 100m splits were 1:25-1:30. There was no 5th split. I completely bonked. Hopefully I can muster another try tomorrow. I really want to break 1:30.

Boy howdy! I've never even rowed 18k in one sitting. It was definitely 4 min as recently as 2 days ago. Oh well...might as well give it a shot and hope for the best. Might need to over hydrate to plan for the tears.

Anyone know how Spring Series will work for old farts who are not on competitive teams? It sounds like a fun wave to get a little bit competitive, but maybe it is only for competitive racers. Anyone else think it sounded like a hoot?
