Ergdata won’t send an interval workout with undefined rest to the PM5
Hi, This morning, I was trying to set up a 8 x 3min rowing workout with undefined rest as I was mixing it with strength training. When I finished programming the workout in Ergdata and connect my iPhone to the PM5, the workout never went to the PM5 so I couldn’t do it. I then tried the same workout ...

It is completely independent of any https://concept2.com https://log.concep2.com or https://c2forum.com registration. What user name do you think you've registered at: http://c2ctc.com/person.php I won't be able to sort it out today (I'm currently in Hong Kong Airport) but leave your details and I'...

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Hi, I am new to the CTC challenge and I can’t figure out how to enter data on this website ! My name is in the rower’s list but It keeps telling me that my password is INCORRECT. Is it the same password as this Forum ? Should I ask for resetting the password ? If password reset, will it reset the pa...

Re: Does Concept 2 ever have sales?
I can testify that, if you want to buy refurbs units or slightly used, you have to pick them up at the factory directly. They don’t ship those. I’ve just emailed them this week to know if they have refurb SkiErg and they replied saying yes and that I have to pick it up at the factory. I’m in Canada ...

Re: new rower, much slower 500m split than gym rowers
..... But even the return in that case is not easier, as returning the heavier weight to the ground is also more difficult. Ohhh what a realistic statement there ! If only the crossfitters and the gym’s showman could understand this instead of smashing the weight to the ground after lifting, they w...

I was thinking about this...
Does the air temperature has an effect on air flow ? Guess it wouldn’t change a thing if drag factor is the same but just thinking out loud...

Re: new rower, much slower 500m split than gym rowers
20 minutes HIIT (40 sec at 34-40 SPM followed by 20 second recovery 20 SPM). What was the difference in your 20 x 40 second averages? On the ship’s rowers, I was able to reach 1:40-1:45 split time at 36-40SPM (couldn’t do that for very long though...) and, on my home rower, the minimum that I reach...

Re: new rower, much slower 500m split than gym rowers
20 minutes HIIT (40 sec at 34-40 SPM followed by 20 second recovery 20 SPM). In that 40 sec, I was reaching sometimes 1:37 to 1:40 split time, something that I can’t get on my new Model E, even if I pull as hard as I can ! 5 min recovery at 20-22 SPM low wattage. At a 1:40 split time, at 36 spm, th...

Re: new rower, much slower 500m split than gym rowers
For most folks rowing at 1:45 for an extended period of time isn't easy. That's especially true if they're new to rowing. Assuming there was an issue with one of the two ergs I bet it was with the one on the cruise ship, and that yours is fine. Well, something that I didn’t mention on my first post...

Re: new rower, much slower 500m split than gym rowers
Hi Hearetygrain, Have you done some more troubleshooting for your issue ? I’m glad I’ve found your post because I am experiencing the same issue with my new Model E rower. Mine is a refurbished rower bought directly at the Concept2 facility. I was rowing on a model E very well maintained on a cruise...
