Re: Weight adjusted times on ErgData disappeared?
Thanks guys…think I’ll reinstall the old one if that’s possible. It’s just nice to have that feature there on tap rather than manually calculate it each time.

Re: Weight adjusted times on ErgData disappeared?
I’m not interested in whether others use it for handicapping just whether or not it has disappeared from the latest update. I liked it for personal reasons not least because it provides a basis of comparison albeit imperfect. Can anyone confirm if the latest version of ErgData has in fact forever re...

Weight adjusted times on ErgData disappeared?
Hi all, is it just me or has the last ErgData update removed the weighted adjusted splits? I’ve searched everywhere but can’t seem to restore them. The old version you could click on a workout on the app, and there would be a weight adjusted option.

Re: New ErgData issue
I've tried two rows with the new app, both have been set for 5,000m rows...upon hitting the distance the PM5 freezes and produces a hard reset. The data is not recorded on either app or the PM5....can you please advise on what to do? For those rowing sessions, did you use the app to program the dis...

Re: New ErgData issue
I got the exact same issue! It works if I do “just row” but any set distance causes some hard error screen crash. It’s not the firmware - mine is up to date. It’s the stupid app change which wasn’t needed. Was perfectly happy with the old one.

Re: Weight in Ergdata changes by itself
I have exactly the same problem. I have no idea why it keeps increasing my weight so it must be a bug

Re: Where to row on a dynamic C2 machine in Sydney?
Does it really need to be a Dynamic? How about if folks describe to you the differences between slides and a Dynamic? Might that (and you trying slides) be enough to help? I don't have experience on either, but have heard that the Dynamic doesn't make as much noise as a "static." (which presumably ...

Where to row on a dynamic C2 machine in Sydney?
Hi all, I’m really keen to give the dynamic rowing a bash but have no idea where to “test” one out. My rowing club only has slides and as far as I can see most clubs are the same. Any ideas?

Help Mara training: sore bum, glute and nerve issues
Hi All, training for my first Mara and have gravitated from using a folder towel for cushioning to the C2 seat pad but still get sore glutes, pins and needles in the feet and nerve pain in left outside shin after 25kms and cannot progress beyond this. Has anyone else had similar issues with long dis...

Re: Damper settings / drag factor question
Really helpful comments - thanks everyone! The DF dynamic has given me a whole new dimension to explore but there’s still a few things baffling me. Until recently I’ve always rowed on damper setting 10 (the max) and contrary to what most seem to find, my relative performance is better as distance in...

Re: Damper settings / drag factor question
Any thoughts on what diff a DF of say 200 (max 10 damper) vs 135 might make to a 5k time of say 18:30? I appreciate it might vary by person but curious to know what your gut feel is?

Re: Damper settings / drag factor question
Thanks rod. I’ll just try experimenting with the DF as up until recently I’ve put the damper on the 10 max thinking (in my ignorance) that was optimal

Re: Damper settings / drag factor question
Thanks. This might be an obvious question but I’m guessing a clean machine will make a massive difference to times and hence pbs?

Damper settings / drag factor question
Appreciate this has been discussed at length before but I’m confused about one thing. Most seem to use 3-5 damper settings to get the drag factor between 115-140, whereas I have to use around 6-7 to achieve the same thing. Wondering if concept 2 rowers are different in different parts of the world? ...
