Drag factor

I'm still trying to get a grip (no pun intended) on drag factor. I've done a lot of reading and am still not clear on what range I should have. I posted many months ago when I started rowing after a very long layoff but only stuck with it for a couple of weeks. Now I am trying again and could not be...

Re: Training strategies for rowing as a 2nd sport

Thanks for the tips on good form and diminishing the amount of "bad" energy. I haven't been able to row in nearly a week because of a pulled muscle in my back from carrying a 100 pound box in an awkward position. I hope to do some rowing this weekend and check a few of your tips.

Is rowing a bigger help to cycling than cycling is to rowing, because obviously it hasn't helped me much :( JamesG- low rating? is that a low stro...

Training strategies for rowing as a 2nd sport

A little background: I am 60 years old, 6' 3" and 215 lbs (190 cm 98 kg). In my 20s and 30s I was a decent runner for a big guy. In my 40s I switched to cycling and was quite good. In my early 50s I went back to running but then switched to the erg for a while after a foot injury. I don't remember m...
