Thank you for your response. The new App makes it easier to connect and disconnect with Bluetooth. So, when I switch from the rower to the bike (same workout regimen) I can click the icon for the rower and disconnect and then connect to the bike. My hiccup is that I watch a movie or show on my table...

I suppose it is worth a try to revert to the old App. I was not sure why they would do away with the cable connection feature. It seems much simpler.

I think Purell wipes(or equivalent) are the best. At the gym, I have been wiping the machine before and after every use.
As of today, I just ordered a Model D for home (wife gave permission).
I will still wipe it down. But only at the end, since it will have been wiped by after the last use anyway.

I had the same exact problem. I have a Samsung S8 and Model D with PM5 (at the gym). My solution was to use a USB cable.
