Re: Will Model E legs fit Model D rower
Job done. 2 x 1ft lengths of 6x4 held together with a 26inch length of 6x1 floor planking. Made in H shape, imagine the cross bar of the H being the 26inch. Top covered with 2mm rubber to stop the rower sliding. Solid as a rock. The other end is just an old wooden box I had lying around but its soli...

Re: Will Model E legs fit Model D rower
Its interesting that the centre of the rail, the one with the feet and wheels on, doesnt touch the floor. I'm guessing that its deliberate that theres no support directly under the V legs in order to provide a little 'spring' which helps with reducing vibration. I have tested it with bodyweight and ...

Re: Will Model E legs fit Model D rower
Thanks for the replies.
After some major reorganisation of my (junk) spare room, I am in a position now to leave the rower set up all the time. Therefore, the box idea that I discounted earlier is back on the cards.
I'll let you know how I progress.

Re: Will Model E legs fit Model D rower
Jackarabit, thanks for your post but that option has been assessed and discounted due to the fact that I have to take down the rower after use. Also, storage of said boxes would be an issue. Getting on is easy, getting off not so. My best compromise so far is to have a stool to the side that can off...

Re: Introducing myself.
Thanks for the replies so far. I was looking at the Pete Plan and I have to say at this early stage it looks a bit scary. I think my best option for the first couple of months would be to get a reasonable technique, get used to the machine as this is my first time on a rower and try and keep my hear...

Introducing myself.
Hi guys. A big hello from Devon, Gods country. A new model D owner and looking to improve my overall fitness. Its unlikely I will ever be an Olympian :D but even a small improvement is better then none. I used to cycle a lot back in the day, not up to any recognised standard but I had fun. Unfortuna...
