Protein shake made with soy protein, any fruit, skim milk before or after, never seems to 'bog' me down. Also: nuts, seeds, fruits make easy snacks to take the edge off if you cant or dont want to eat much.

Sounds like blood pressure issue...see DR. dont' mess around, I have high blood pressure if not on medication. Exercise helps in the long run but you have to have it controled first. Simple and easy to find out. I have my own BP monitor just to keep up on things along with heartrate monitor. Best Wi...

I keep a pair of my most comfy walking shoes and nice socks right next to my erg, just put 'em on and never have problems. I have a new D model and the plastic heel straps/slings bother if I go barefoot or just socks, sorta wish they were like Paul's slings and not moulded plastic

I find the Forum interesting, informative, motivational, fun.....I am not an 'elite' member of the rowing community but sure do enjoy the contact with others who care about rowing/erging. Thanks

Go to C2 HomePage, under Resources/Women's Pages...there is an article in there re: Osteoporosis/Bone Health That's about the best place I have read up on the subject, you could try a web search on the subject, I haven't done that.

Then you'll be styling in cool comfort! Thanks for sharing, makes me want to move my computer upstairs to my erg. I use the RowPro C2 logb...

Training

I was rowing at a club, got a little coaching etc. We even got some women's classes going. I had a car accident and stopped. When I thought about returning, they had pretty much quit the classes, had most of the ergs hanging on the wall, 'cept for 2 and no one interested! I couldn't believe it! Here...

Training

I have a pad on mine at home, stuck down. If you left the backing on (it's paper) I think that it will become worn, peal off...also, it's sorta waxy and would surely slip. My suggestion is to take the paper off, place non-skid stuff (rubbery stuff like you put in drawers, toolboxes) onto the sticky ...
