That brings up an interesting point: Perhaps there should be two rankings, one of which cannot be manipulated, hence; a ranking combining both race participants and individual submissions and another ranking for only race particpants.

The first part already exists. The second part does no...

The calendar could be called, "The Calendar of Champions" featuring the medal winners of the BIRC, WIRC, EIRC. The money could be used for, "Row for the Cure." It would be a way of honoring the medal winners and at the same time raising money for a cause.

[attachmentid=130]I was working on Andreas' picture, trying to make it a calendar for the month of March, but I can't find the second disc of my Microsoft Picture It! Digital Image Pro. The computer I have came with a photo type shop but I don't like it. So, the attachment was an idea of how to add ...

Just some thinking,

Marilyn, Krysta, and the other ladies . . .

If there was an indoor rowing calender with the theme presented by Andreas, would you buy one? The theme being, "Indoor rowers and their rowing environment." Something that looks good as well as professional.<br /...

I tried to think of a series of races where it would be done over the course of a month where the total time of all distances would determine the order of finish. So, an idea would be:

1st weekend: 1000m
2nd weekend: 2000m
3rd weekend: 6000m
4th weekend 10000m

...

Also, the sky is a faint tan instead of a brilliant blue, but again pretty much the same as where I live.

No, I have not encountered a maximum drag factor for an erg race, but I did come upon just the opposite. A couple of years ago, I saw advertised for one of the Canadian erg races that the maximum drag factor would be used for the Men as part of national testing. I think it was for the erg race that ...

When you say a personal best, do you mean in comparison to their season best? My season best is the 17:09.something I rowed a couple of weeks ago. Other than that, I had listed my season best as 17:28 prior to the start of this race series.

Also, do I have to do a 5k this weekend? I would...

It appears the Mark Dickson name is a real person and the Chad Williams name is an a.k.a. for somebody.

I had an idea today during the 10k on rowpro.

The fastest 2k in the last 2000 meters of a 10,000 meter piece is the winner. You would have to have a 1:50.0 average or faster prior to begining the last 2000 meters, otherwise, you don't qualify.

You could make the average anythin...

It would not matter if you had a video of Dwayne and others taking turns on the ergometer since their are team records for 100,000 meters, 1-hour, Marathon, and Half-Marathon. He might have been trying to convince guys who don't row but are extremely powerful to attempt one of these records and in t...
