Bill you forgot to factor in your weight and you PAT score - so given that your result was flawed you only get the 'water bottle'

George

I always laugh at the people at the gym who get on and off the erg in 5 - 10 minutes who comment to me that it is not only tough but boring. Tough it can be but I have never been bored (not sure what that says about me )

My mind is always active, looking at pace and rate, distance gone or...

So much is dependent on individual physiology that it is not a 'one size fits all' scenario.

Training recovery is also very dependent on 'lifestyle' as well. Because of personal circumstances I am now havin...

A further facet to this discussion may be that the hard / easy approach may only become a factor when a minimum 'total' duration of work is carried out over a period.

I think that I could come in and row a flat out 2k 6 days a week without the danger of overtraining (performance may vary ...

Row it like a mini 2k. 7 - 8 sub goal pace strokes, settle into a rhythm and pace you can hold, with 200 to go if you have anything left pick up you rate and die on the last stroke

I believe a 1000m is to long for a fly and die strategy, it should be paced.

George

I dont see why - when you do them is irrelevant and when you post them is irrelevant, as long as you do them.

The only good thing about posting them regularly is that I for one sometimes use other's meters as a spur to keep me going and also how we are placed on the table as well - so rea...
