Re: Starnberg
Thank you, the same applies for your wife then I guess! I'm pretty sure I would improve with structured training, but Starnberg made me realize once again how boring rowing can be without the immersive Zwift world. With just those numbers to stare at ... kudos to everyone who manages to keep up the ...

Re: Starnberg
That's a perfect sum-up - thank you! Sounds like you both had a perfect race, congratulations! It was my second race in Starnberg, the first one was 2019. Air quality has definitely improved; it's still pretty warm but not the "thick" air I remember from last time. Or maybe it was just nervousness i...

Re: WRICH
Sorry, big mistake on my end. Shanghai will be hosting the WRCH, not the WRICH

Shanghai it seems.
I'm not interested. Prague was convenient because I could easily travel by train. Definitely not going to fly around the globe for an indoor rowing event.

Re: Seat problem - concept2 model D rower
What I see in your video looks pretty normal to me, at least it looks totally similar on my machine. Never caused me any problems. It only happens when I press on one side of the seat, never when I row and have my body weight centered.

Re: Sore bottom
I just stumbled across a very easy solution - Literally pick your butt cheeks up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wIUoFbUqiU Had a very sore bum with serious chafing from a two-hour row on sunday. Did another one-hour row on monday with lots of vaseline, it didn't really help and was far worse afte...

Re: PM5 display error
Thank you Carl, sounds very reasonable. As it's my own machine which I keep dry and clean I'll have a look inside for some hidden corrosion. Maybe it's a sign that I create too much moisture in my pain cave.

PM5 display error
Not sure when this started on my PM5, but it starts to annoy me. The display shows a line at the very bottom that doesn't seem to be intended. It always shows up, no matter which Display/Unit option I choose. It changes its appearance constantly with every stroke. https://up.picr.de/45007823jx.jpg A...

Re: Zwift racing
I love racing on Zwift although I know there's a lot of cheating going on. I just don't care about it. It gives me a great and very entertaining workout. Maybe I would be gutted if I cared about the results. Of course you need to choose the right race that suits you. If you're a poor climber it's no...

Re: Row/ski on Zwift
This happens to me from time to time, and it got worse with the latest Zwift updates. More and more cyclists also report this issue on the Zwift forum. For me the most solid connection is via PainSled on iPhone. Fails about once every six months (with almost everyday use). Using VLC Player with InEa...

Re: ergdata in the background
Absolutely! Old devices can be very handy.
Maybe PainSled is an option for @nates nonetheless. If he doesn´t need verification and some other features of ErgData it would work. It syncs with the C2 logbook and shows most of the data that ErgData provides.

Re: ergdata in the background
It doesn´t work with ErgData, but it works with PainSled. I use it every day running Zwift Companion App while PainSled is working in the background. Works absolutely flawless on iPhone. Maybe it´s an option for you too.

Re: Why did you stop using RowPro ?
Haha, that sounds very much like my story. Except that I never tried RowPro. Started with ErgData and headphones and did structured workouts following a plan. It was okay, I had goals and worked towards them. “Worked“ is the key word. Then I discovered rowing on Zwift - a real game changer. Suddenly...
