C_Breeze
I live in humidity-soaked, often-quite-warm South Carolina. My Model D is kept (and used almost daily) in the garage and for most of the year, used in conjunction with a couple of box fans. I decided before it got to bad this year, I'd try a C_Breeze. So far, so good, but I'm curious for those of yo...

Re: Full leg cast
In the past (and I will again next week when I have my 5th foot surgery since March 2013), I've used a technique similar to the Union Jack pillow with one difference ... I didn't sit on the erg's seat, I put a seat over the glide rail and didn't push off the foot platforms. I had the back of the erg...

Re: blisters on hands
I'd tried chalk to help keep my hands dry, but I'm not sure that was effective for anything over a 5k I'd tried a thin, performance-wear-type wrap ... nope, just got saturated and "sloshy" I've found, for me and my lovely blisters :/ wristbands to help keep sweat from rolling down to my hands and a ...

Re: Marathon Row at The CrossFit Games
Thank you.
Over the past 14 months, I've been gradually increasing distances/times ... I'd done 2 half-marathons in the two months previous, and I'd built up through August with the 'Dog Days' challenge.

Re: Marathon Row at The CrossFit Games
Inspired me to step up to a full marathon ... my first, and as yet, only Fueled with a normal pre-workout breakfast (oatmeal with 100g blueberries & 31g protein powder) ... Water, Powerade, mini-pretzels and dill pickles by my side during the row My goal was sub-4hrs ... next time, I'll aim higher ;...
