Just noticed this thread, even though it's a few months old. Original post mentioned this: "Apple records two workouts - one from the ergdata and one from my watch, so I have to delete one every time. But if I delete ergdata, I lose the miles, and if I delete apple watch, I lose the heart rate recov...

Thanks, Ombrax and Nick for the recommendation about cycling. Regarding upper body workouts, yes, unfortunately he has the same concerns about that. I've done pushups just about every day of my adult life and he made me quit that. Sad. I'm doing the best I can to abide by his rules. :(
