Re: Weights and rowing
Thanks guys, My goals are to maintain strength (primarily for general health) and to improve my rowing times. I find that if I focus on just one thing I tend to get injuries, etc. I also spend a large part of my life sat on my arse so I need a wider array of movements to attempt to counteract this. ...

Weights and rowing
Hi, I've seen this discussed in a few areas but couldn't really find what I'm after. I'm trying to find a rowing programme that incorporates some strength and conditioning in to the mix. I'd like to run by own non-rowing programming but want to find a complementary rowing programme. For the most par...

Re: Technique advice
Thought I'd just follow up on this.
Managed a 7.11 at the BRICs. Was not at my best either so definitely gunning for sub 7 next time out.
Great event btw. We'll be back next year for sure.
Thanks for all your tips.

Re: Technique advice
Thanks
Will focus on the longer pieces at a a decent wattage.
What's the HR approach? I've got a monitor (Apple Watch) but never really used it other than to see how high I can get it in the high intensity pieces.

Re: Technique advice
Check your workout summary in PM memory, logcard, USB stick, C2 online log. If your average power in watts was 324 or higher, you produced at least 12 watt-minutes per stroke (324/27=12). Usually referred to as stroke power index (spi). Thanks, is there a correlation table to consult? This was done...

Re: Technique advice
Looks quite good to me. I couldn't spot any major flaws. The demo was at a fairly high stroke rate, but I assume that it was intentional, since you were maintaining a fast pace. I reckoned the work per stroke to be about 12, which is very good for your size and age. Good luck at the BRIC! Super, co...

Technique advice
Hi folks, I'm after some feedback on technique. Not been rowing long 3-4weeks and trying to come back from an unrelated lower back strain. This was around 1.38 pace which between 500 (1.32) and 2k pace (7.20) for me so far. I'm aiming for sub 7 in the short term. Training towards the Brics in mid De...

Rower sensor too fast/double speed
howdy, I am continuing to have problems after changing the batteries in my pm3. at first it would register any rowing and now it is registering rowing but at around twice the speed. Can anyone suggest anything. I've had a good search around but can't find any advice. It's a model c with a pm3. many ...

Re: Rowing not registering with PM3 after battery change
Ah, this is a frequent problem. When the batteries go 100% dead then 30minutes later your PM3 will lose it's remaining power (from the big capacitor) and the memory goes blank. You insert new batteries and the power up sequence asks you to set language and time/date. The missing piece is that it do...

Rowing not registering with PM3 after battery change
Hi I recently had cause to change the batteries in my retrofit pm3 monitor (2006 model) on my model c rower. Unfortunately the rower PM3 does not now register the pulling/turning of the fly wheel. I have a done a number of searches but can't seem to pin pout anyone with a similar issue. Does anyone ...
