So, I have been rowing for about 2.5 months - Started slowly and I've got to a point where my 500 split is around 2.00 on a 5k row - not brilliant but it's progress. Morning all Quick update: I took onboard the tips from yesterday and did another 2k this morning, focusing on a 1:2 timing and deliberately slowing my stroke rate. It felt so much easier and I felt like I could have gone on much longer (I didn't have time this morning but will give it another go ton...

I was just reading about slower SPM!

I dunno, 32 seems fairly natural to me but after 10 minutes i feel quite knackered.
