I got new shoes, and I feel like they are really making a difference. I've been able to do times with much less perceived effort. Also, I am not getting the pain around below my ankle that I had with running shoes.

They are Pumas and I would decribe them as a spikeless track shoe. Thin an...

Maybe a quick wipe w/a damp papertowel would get rid of most of the bumps.

Congrats Shannon! Way to go! I'm coming along behind you two. I've finally got the scale consistently registering under 140, so that's progress. It's good to see it moving because it had been going back and forth in the 140 - 142 range forever.

Question - in racing do you have to be able ...

Sounds like a successful home improvement project!

LOL about rowing in the sunshine. I can't wait until the weather cooperates so that I can open the garage door when I row.

OK, it's the 3rd, and I finally got rolling. I never have time to row on Wed, and yesterday I drove 300+ miles for a field trip, so didn't row after that.

It's great to have everyone so chatty again. :) It got quiet here in Feb.

I think I'm going to be looking for some thinner soled - i.e. non-running - shoes, too. Here's the problem that I recently discovered with running shoes. I've been feeling a tingling behind and below my right outside anklebone. When I talked to my father (retired orthopedic surgeon) on the phone las...

I'm being indecisive about my goal. Their goal is 25 5K days in the month, but that would be way more than I've ever done in a month so far. Jan & Feb I did 14 rows each with totals in the mid 80Ks. I think realistically that I should aim for 20 rows during March. That would still be a significant i...

To clarify, the elbows will end up slightly behind the torso, but shouldn't be away from it. So your forearms will end up touching (or nearly touching) your torso.

I'll try a 2K piece tomorrow, but if we "kill" ourselves with this online row tonight, tomorrow's time might not be very good. :D Tomorrow is going to be pretty chopped up, so I'll just squeeze in an offline row when I can.

I used a wireless connection between the laptop in the garage (by the erg) and the "home" computer w/the DSL connection. Signal strength was "good." Didn't have any trouble. That was my first time on rowpro, so only one data point for you.
