Re: Crackling Knees
I have knee issues also. Partly from running and partly from various injuries over the years (52). My most recent injury was last March (2013). Having been through knee recoveries (fell on knees, kicked by horse) I have found rowing to be an excellent method for recovery. Mine occasionally crack and...

Re: erging in the loft
This is probably horrible, but I just set it up indefinitely in the living room! I have back issues and it's too much for my back for me to set it up at 5:00am (which is when I row during the work week). For Thanksgiving day and Christmas Day I do break it down and put it in a bedroom. It's a good r...

Introduction To Indoor Rowing
I like how a specific distance is broken down in the information panel, however I was disappointed to discover that you can't put in a specific distance and then row over that distance to meet a minutes goal. :( So, I know I rowed 30 minutes, but the ERG only counted the 27:41.7 that it took for me ...

Re: Rowing for Weight Loss
Download ergdata, it's a free program. You do need to purchase a cord and cradle for (in my case) $10.00. It uploads to your online log. I also had to update my erg, so you might have issues with that. The ergdata/phone worked, but I couldn't use the monitor with it until I updated it. But the progr...

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
I've joined your Vitrual Team Challenge and I'm glad this looks like a fun group!!
I'm hoping as my knees heal up, I get a bit faster. Trying to outrow my weight. I guess we've been together too long as it is not budging!!
Current lifetime meters 797,603.

Re: Luna-Tics Looking for More Teammates! Sign on!
I am part of a team that I don't see as participating (ducks in a row). So, it says you can't be in two teams. Just letting you know I'm trying to join yours for the challenge.
Thanks!
Edit to add: It says I'm joined. I'm not the fastest, but I'm consistent! (c:
