The PM3 screen is not dim, you have a contrast setting you can adjust, what you probably mean is it has no backlight on the PM3 if you like rowing in the dark. Other than the screen being dim, why should I upgrade? If I do, I'd replace the PM3 on my model B and put the PM5 on my D.

I've got mine set to 2D, but I always have the top half covered over with ITunes, Suunto Monitor, or email. I really only care about the progress bar and meter info in the bottom right. I wish you could detach the boxes or collapse the top half (but Pete won’t listen to me ).

I had the same problem a month ago. C2 made me pay for the replacement (with a $50 credit of the old unit). The screen on the replacement flickers.

You can't put a PM2 on a Model A, but you can put a PM3 or PM4 on a A,B,C, & D.

Not sure how you found that file, but the 2.010 version is called RowProSetup.exe. I downloaded it last night and it works fine.

I suggest you start rowing again.
In the last 30 days I've done two 100k's. With Rowpro I set up a custom session of 8 x 12500m fixed intervals with a 5min break between each set. I consume at least 1 liter of water every hour, with a Power Bar GEL every 30 min.
Makes for a long day.
