Re: Ergdata fails to save workout
Well it appears that I am not alone with this problem. I will try to contact Concept2 directly and see what they say. I will post updates here.

Ergdata fails to save workout
I am using the App Version 2.0.28(2) of ErgData with PM5. I am frequently unable to save a workout. The workout saves to the PM5 but I get a message that it failed to save to ErgData. Typically, I can hit "Retry" a couple of times and it will save. But today no matter how many times I pressed "Retry...

Re: Heart Monitor Question
CJOttawa: I am curious if you have encountered any problems with the H10 recording your heart rate. I have been using the H10 recently and I am getting some very erratic heart rate data. For example, the heart rate graph produced by the Polar Beat app shows sudden drops or spikes in the heart rate t...

Re: Heart rate based training w/Polar H10
Thank you all for your input. I wanted the heart rate data to start "heart rate based" training where you target different intensity levels based on heart rate. So the heart rate acts as a proxy for intensity and you spend your training time in different "intensity" zones. I am new to this theory an...

Re: Heart rate based training w/Polar H10
My apologies. Apparently you can no longer post attachments with posts on this form. Please ignore my reference to the screenshot of the heart rate graph. Also, here is the correct (full) link to the Polar web site citing problems with sports where "you flex the muscles and tendons near your wrist:"...

Heart rate based training w/Polar H10
Does anyone out there conduct heart rate based training using Polar equipment? Although I used to be a big fan, I am extremely frustrated with with current Polar equipment, specifically the M430 watch and the H10 Heart rate sensor (transmitter). When used in rowing (indoor or OTW), the Polar M430's ...

Re: Is Polar H10 compatible with PM5?
I cannot get the H10 to work with either the PM5 / Ergdata or the NK SpeedCoach and simultaneously connect to the Polar Beat app on the iPhone. It will connect with the iPhone by itself or the Speedcoach by itself or the PM5 but itself. But I cannot simultaneously record heart rate data in Polar Bea...

Piece Verification
I was at the boathouse today and had a really good 2K time, the best I've done for 2019 (6:57.5). But at the conclusion of the piece the ErgData said "Failed to upload data. Check your software version update." I took a picture of the PM5 screen to record my times but is there a way to retrieve my m...

"Scan icon" in lower RH corner of Ergdata app?
I have Ergdata V1.3.8(3) with an iPhone 7. On the main screen in the lower right hand corner there is a small icon next to the settings button. It looks like an "N" with two right hand parentheses next to it (like: 'N))' ). What does this do? If I click on it, a dialog box pops open that says "Ready...

No firmware update available for my PM5
I have a PM5 that says the firmware version is 20. I used the Concept 2 Utility (v7.06.15) to try to install the new PM5 firmware update (version 29) but if only gives me options to download the update for the SkiErg (version 22). I am trying to download to a USB Flash drive that is formatted as FAT...

2K Test and falling heart rate
During the last 300m of a 2K test, my heart rate dropped from a steady 168 bpm to 157 bpm in just under a minute. Less than 30 seconds after stopping it was back up to 162 bpm. I have experienced similar behavior before. My heart rate will fall rather than rise during the sprint at the end of an int...
