January Challenge(s) 2020!
Off to a slow start both for the January Challenges and for getting the topic posted! :D  :D But better late than never! My goal for January is to just get back into a regular rowing routine! Also trying to decide on participating in NW Ergomania this year. I'm not nearly in the rowing shape I...

Re: Holiday Challenge 2019!
Well didn't even come close to the 100k. By the time things got back on track I had 3 days to do 60k which wasn't happening.
A bit disappointed, but I didn't do any of the fail challenges as preparation (which I usually do), so I sabotaged myself.
Ah well, on to 2020!

Re: Holiday Challenge 2019!
Almost 2 weeks in, and I'm only at 32K! :o :o :o Work has been crazy! I usually get a couple of good sessions in over the weekend, but instead I put in almost 20 hours of work! Things are getting better so hoping to make up the meters so I can make the 100K! Sharky let me row, let me row, let me row!

Re: Holiday Challenge 2019!
Wow great to see all the posts! Welcome to the community to the newcomers! I started off OK. Getting close to 16K while watching the Thanksgiving football games. Friday morning went as planned, and was feeling good. Then Sat, to quote young Luke Skywalker 'Uncle Owen, this R2 unit has a bad motivato...

Holiday Challenge 2019!
Time to get the party started! :D Dusted off my spreadsheet schedules from the past 2 years to make my schedule for this one. Updated the dates and adjusted goals for the week I'm on-call for work (more work hours, less sleep :P ) And I'm about 35K short of the 200k! I'm blaming it on the short time...

Re: Fall Team Challenge 2019
I'm pretty sure she was referring to the 'Holiday Challenge' which runs from Thanksgiving (11/28/2019) through Christmas eve (12/24/2019) There are a different levels 100 K and 200 K. As for me. Despite a good start, good football, and best intentions I haven't managed any rowing this week. <excuse ...

Fall Team Challenge 2019
Hey folks! I'm baaaaaack! Or at least trying to get back!   Totally missed the dog day challenge! After a sloooooow healing leg wound, various house guests, out of town travel, colds, and a pulled rib, I get to start all over again at rowing consistently. UGH! But love a challenge an...

Re: Madness 2019!
:x    No rowing for at least another week for me. No mud season challenge. No 1MM this year. Feeling a bit annoyed since I had originally scheduled this procedure for the end of Jan, so that I could row in March, but life happens. What I'm really not looking forward to is the week ...

Re: Holly's journey
Hey Holly, Congrats on doing 1000m when you probably didn't feel like doing anything at all! When I have those days I try to remember that those are the days I'm actually making the most progress! I'm doing something rather than nothing, and the fact that it's difficult actually means that I'm makin...

Re: Madness 2019!
Hey Holly, Great job on setting yourself a good challenge. Turns out I was probably a bit too aggressive in starting back rowing, so I'm not sure I'll make the challenge at any level. :| I never actually asked my doctor when I could start back to rowing and I'm thinking I may have jumped the gun a b...

Madness 2019!
March Madness! Mud Season Madness! Enough of winter already madness! Had to take a break from rowing due to stitches in my lower leg. (Minor procedure and all is well.) But stitches are gone as of Weds, and I got my first row in this morning (5K) after a 10 day hiatus. My plan is do 10K for 10...

Re: February Follies 2019
DOH! Sorry just saw your post about the CTC!
I had intended to do it in Feb, but work/life got busy and I had a minor procedure that resulted in stitches in my leg so no rowing for the past week+.
Been catching up on all the great posts!

Re: February Follies 2019
Hey Folks, well I'm in danger of not making the Valentine Day challenge. There's still a chance, if I get a row in when I get home tonight and don't oversleep tomorrow so I can do my morning row. :) February is always the toughest for me. How is everyone else doing? Sharky keep on rowing, jus...

Re: Holly's journey
Hey Holly, Great Job!!! Based on the numbers, my guess is that you are looking at Calories per hour which you can change. Not sure if you are asking about the display on the monitor or on your phone. Since you just got your erg, you probably have a PM5 monitor. https://www.concept2.com/service/monit...
