Re: SkiErg updated with rower firmware
Turns out you can change the PM5 type in the Concept2 utility. Sorry about littering the forum with this

SkiErg updated with rower firmware
I just updated both my rower and my SkiErg, back to back. The rower updated fine, but the SkiErg updated to the rower firmware (it even said updating from x to version 169, but I was afraid to unplug it mid-update), and it says "Just Row". What can I do to get it on the right version of the SkiErg f...

Re: ErgData V1.4.2 (21) Not connecting to iPhone 7
this is an absurd design decision. All they have to do is add a checkbox to the connection screen to remember the connection to get around this. Or, bring up a message asking to remember it, like they do with HRMs.

Yes, I have an iPhone XS, and I’m being asked to pair every time. I’m sure it’s just a bug in the latest release.

Re: How well does a SkiErg complement the rower and elliptical?
It sounds to me like you had more of a space issue than any kind of issue with the SkiErg, especially if you’re already thinking about getting one again.

Re: How well does a SkiErg complement the rower and elliptical?
I took the plunge on the BikeErg. Seeking variety on LISS and Endurance work. Echo fan bike would be wasted on me right now. What’s your view of the BikeErg now that you’ve owned it a few months? I’m likely going to stop paying for a gym membership, and will put that money toward a SkiErg first, bu...

Re: Drag Factor
The catch is at the start of the stroke when you push with your legs. Which goes on to the swing (11 oclock to 1 oclock) of the body and then to the arms. If you have a good strong drive with the legs but then it feels too easy on the arms its probably because you're moving your arms too slowly. Th...

Re: Drag Factor
I’m a beginner (6’3”), and I’ve noticed that at drag factor 130, the stroke becomes a little “easier” at the point where I transition from my legs to my arms. (Is that called the catch? No idea). Anyway, does that imply that I should slightly increase the drag factor, so there’s no loss of tension a...

Re: ErgData App Freezing
This happens to me constantly - I can't get through a full workout without it freezing. It's happens using both an iPhone6 and 8 Plus. The PM5 keeps working, as does the connection to my Vivoactive 3. I'm pretty much at wits end with this.
