Re: Rolling issue
After five million meters, you probably need new seat bearings. They are cheap and easy to replace. One of the few parts on the C2's that wear out, and as you found, it takes a lot of use before they do wear out. Hi jag. Thanks for the quick reply. I don't see "bearings" anywhere on the seat assemb...

Re: Rolling issue
Hi. My Model D is a few months away from 3 years in operation. I've got 5.5 million meters on it. The problem is that the seat feels "bumpy" way too often; like instead of asphalt I'm now on single track. I've been accustomed to taking a Clorox wipe and systematically wiping the rail and black resi...

Re: weight loss and rowing
Thanks for the posts, all. I row about 11,500 or 12k per hour or perhaps a little more with the right motivation. (Like blaring some Green Day thru headphones.) But lately it's taken longer than an hour, just to rehab from a sore left shoulder. (You definitely gotta have patience during those times....

Re: Cyclist Experience with Concept2
Hey Tesla, I'm a lifelong cyclist. Welcome to the wonderful world of rowing! Here's a quick tip: I had some serious butt burn when I first started rowing, 2 years ago. I was hurtin' for certain. But I alleviated the pain by picking up a couple pairs of rowing shorts. Here's a good site: http://shop....

Re: Omnikey 3121 not working with Mac OS
Hey guys, thanks for the replies. Concept2 says it works with 10.8, and even links to the drivers. But not as far as revision 10.8.3, but I've got a tech call out. Looks like Omnikey and Mac aren't good friends. That info would have been nice to know before I made my purchase. Live and learn. ~Keith

Omnikey 3121 not working with Mac OS
Hi everyone. I have an iMac running Mountain Lion 10.8.3. I've downloaded the drivers from the Concept2 website and worked with the Omnikey tech control people, but I can't get my Mac to read the log card when I insert it into the 3121 Card Reader. Anyone have any tips that would make this work? I k...

Re: Even though I am not Military...
Hi Howard, Good question. I'm a retired Air Force dude looking for a team as well. Btw, I was a seasoned technical trainer down in Pensacola, and it was my pleasure to work alongside other branch members for many years. I've known more than a "few good men" (and gals too) who did the Marines proud b...
