Very nice set up with the iPad. This would be great for visibility of the data while rowing. The cable that comes with the iPhone connection kit looks so short in the photo provided on Concept2's site but I've been told it's 14 1/2" not including the connection ends. Can anyone using it verify that...

Yes, I did...but it feels good. I actually had to take a break from the erg to build a swing set for the kiddos. Now that I have that off the honey-do list, it's back to rowing!
