10'@2.00.0split 22spm
3000m@2.02.1split 22spm
10' cooldown

I'm seeing improvements everyday, today marks 7 days back rowing.

The biggest improvement I have seen is mentally, which was what used to be my weak point. Seems I have matured "mentally" thus far.

Did a 4k today after warming up on the bicycle.

Only managed a 17.02 / 2.07.8split @ 24s/m

I did the "fly and die" method for the first 2k, the next 1k was horrible, and the last 500meters were decent.

Eventually wanting to get back on the water, I continued working on my Technique.

day 2 I wanted to do something a little further distance, so i decided on a 3k this time, not far at all I know. But it only being my 2nd day back, i wanted to make sure i finished, because from my experience is that nothing is worse feeling than not completing a row. So i got on and set the pace bo...

First day back in over 2 years.

Well, recently a few buddies and myself ventured through my computer archives and stumbled upon some old varsity rowing pictures from highschool. And man did it bring back memories. So I said what the heck, I'll do a 2k. Now, i'm no where near in shape. I haven't jumped on the C2 in almost 3 years, ...

I actually find it easier to go faster than that for short distances than to go slower for long periods. I do on occasion force myself to do power/technicque workouts where I pull the same pace but at 19-20 SPM. I'm fascinated to read this. When I do long pieces I occasionally get back-ache between...
