I had the problem when I got a new machine, the handle felt slightly sticky, and I got blisters. An attempt to solve the problem with heat shrink tubing failed, too slippery. I now fold and wrap pieces of household roll paper around the handle ends, it gives a great grip, and no blisters. Works best...
