Re: PM5 and pulsewatch/activity tracker HRM?
ErgData can not connect to PM5 and vivosport at the same time because it has no Ant+ connectivity. First try to connect your vivosport by ANT+ only to PM5 without any Android smartphone. Note that before connecting you have to put your vivosport into HR-sending mode. Alternatively you can also try t...

Re: PM5: Bluetooth & ANT Connection Drops
No problems after upgrading PM5 firmware to V159 (using Android/Galaxy S8 with either Polar H7 or Garmin vivosport).

Re: PM5 and pulsewatch/activity tracker HRM?
My experience is good. Connection is reliable (ErgData to PM5 by Bluetooth, then PM5 to wrist tracker by Ant+), at least since I updated PM5 to V159. You are right about the wrist positioning. I put my tracker a little bit tighter before rowing. And possibly twisting it 180 deg. to the palmar side o...

Re: PM5 and pulsewatch/activity tracker HRM?
Ok. It works. To pair vivosport to PM5, one needs to send the HR data from the watch in a special HR send mode (while pairing to Garmin connect needs no special action). But afterwards I couldn't connect to ErgData. Solution is: - delete your ancient pulse belt data from USB stick - connect your pho...

Re: PM5 and pulsewatch/activity tracker HRM?
Since whatisant.com claims compatibility, I have bought a Garmin vivosport wrist-based tracker yesterday. Pairing with my Android works perfectly and as far as I have seen, pulse measurement is quite accurate, at least in my pulse range (at 63 yr. I hardly go over 140 bpm). Connecting the device to ...

PM5 and pulsewatch/activity tracker HRM?
Has anybody experience with connecting wrist-based pulse detectors to a PM5? I often use a chest belt HRM (Polar H7) but would be interested in an easier way to monitor my pulse. Since many of the wrist-based monitors support both Bluetooth smart and ANT+ connectivity (e.g. Garmin vivosport) I was t...

Re: Model D with E feets?
Thanks a lot for your inputs and suggestions. For the moment I stay with my D model, hoping the increased fitness and an expected wight loss will make me forget the somehow lower D seating position. If I should nevertheless decide for a higher seating position, then selling the D and buying an (used...

Re: Model D with E feets?
Changing the legs seems to be feasible - you just have to drill the appropriate holes to fix them.
Since new E legs are quite expensive (about 250 USD in my country) and this is gonna wipe your warranty, I won't do it for the moment.

Model D with E feets?
Hi. I am new to this forum. Having used a 2017 Model D with PM5 for several months, I am generally very pleased with it. Since I am rather tall (196 cm) I was thinking abour changing the feets of the D model to feets from the E model (PN 2717 & PN 2793) in order to get a higher seating position. Any...
