What weight/height are you? Someone suggested interval training to lower your 2k. In the short term, yes. In the long term, wrong approach. Loads of SS with a few interval/short pieces per week is the answer. Huh interesting. But they have little power when the drag factor is set and 100 or lower because rowing (and erging) is a pushing sport. Back and arms only come into play near the end of the stroke. .
