Re: RowErg/SkiErg/BikeErg Triathlon Transition Glitches
Had the same thing during a middle distance ergathlon. Bought two ethernet cables to connect the erg and had no problems since - including a long distance ergathlon. Very annoying if you are focussed on a workout and it crashes, hope you sorted it out.

RPM versus power
I have done some power check at 80rpm and marked the wattage (@80rpm) for 100 to 500 watts on the flywheel case, to help me switch the setting during a structured workout. Thx for the replies. I tested my 200 meter, best effort so far was 18 seconds with 9.5 for the first 100 and 8.5 for the final 100, so the effect has limited impact..

First meters strategy on all-out sprint?
When doing sprints on the rower, it only takes me a few strokes to get the watts up to the point where avg watts catch up with current watts. On the bike it takes me ‘ages’ - the watts during the first seconds are so low that the average is way lower than current watts for quit some time (all relati...

Sold my old (lately unused) erg (2007, PM3) and recommitted to C2 with a new rowerg, skierg and bikeerg. Played around for a few days, first hard session today. 3 x supersprint ergathlon (row, bike, ski) 6:23 6:40 6:17 Long rests but killing.. forgot how it is to start out with the intention to go eas...

Friday 25-7 Weekly HM. Steady but hard 2:08.5 pace until 17K, trying to hold on and maybe get under 90 minutes for the first time. The little devil on my left left shoulder was whispering in my ear that I should quit, because it was getting very uncomfortable. But I was focussed. Then my wife came ...
