I guess it just shows how different everyone is... The only problem I've had with my NewGrips is "sweaty palms" which I just wipe off and wipe the pads off during a rest. I don't put all my fingers under the strap because my grip isn't as strong that way... I usually leave my pinky out or my index f...

FWIW, I have been using "New Grip" gloves for about the last 6 months and I really like them.

There may well be a link between global deforestation and the number of studies published on caffeine's effects on endurance.

Just wanted to post my two cents as well... While I am not "thrilled" that my brand new Model D is affected by this problem, I am happy with C2's solution. I researched this company thoroughly before making my purchase and I am very impressed with their reputation! I have no patience for having to s...

Logbook - Total Meters Rowed

I am new to rowing... This is my first time going through a "season change". After all the history items are calculated, etc. will my logbook show "lifetime meters" somewhere or does it only keep track of the current season? Can I apply my previous season's 101,093 meters toward my million meters or...

I noticed that if you go to the University/Club standings from the "Challenges" tab instead of from the quick links on your main logbook page... then all the rowers on your team who have rowed this seaon show up.

Thanks Bryan! :D Honestly... I'm not a big fan of distance ANYTHING... I'm a sprinter at heart. I tried the 10K once and decided I wouldn't do it again for a while, but then I got so close to 100,000m that I just couldn't pass up getting it in before the start of the new season. Who needs outs...

I just rowed my second 10K in 49:50.4 down from 50:30.6... Not fast but I have only been rowing for 30 days so I'm pretty excited about it. This row also put me over 100K to finish off the month/season! I LOVE THIS!

Thanks for all your great advice Alissa! I think I've found a team that's going to be a good fit for me. I just joined the Prairieland Strokers. Thanks again!

Looking for a team

I am new to rowing and new to Concept 2... I just received my C2 on March 30th and have rowed 37,012 meters since then. I joined the "CrossFit" team because I currently do CrossFit workouts and thought it would be a good fit but I think I might have joined that bandwagon a little late. It doesn't ap...

Mike - You mentioned a few times having to watch the clock closely to keep your interval times exact... You might want to check out www dot gymboss dot com... (Sorry, I'm a new user so I can't post the URL) I use it to do my Tabata intervals and it works great!
