Do we agree on the difference between "recorded" and "shown on screen?

Yes, drive length is recorded. In the app's opening screen there are 2 boxes on the right of the display. Click on either of these boxes and a menu allows you to select drive time, drive speed, drag factor, etc ... and, yes, drive length.
