Re: Using SkiErg and Rower

I believe that if you use a ANT+ HR monitor you can connect to both PM5s (I have not verified). If you use a dual mode monitor using ANT+/BTLE like the Wahoo TICKR or Scosche Rythm+ you can definitely connect to different devices with each band.

Re: Model D with PM5 Bluetooth issues

I don't either, I was just very surprised he would bring it up as an alternative. Use whatever you like! Having used both I have found that historically in the case of ErgData that the iOS support has been more stable (I usually use iOS and my daughter uses Android on the same rower). She hasn't rep...

4. Switch to an Android phone rather than your overpriced, under spec'd iPhone thing.
You are kidding right? Ergdata is way more reliable on iOS.

Re: Weird Polar H7/H10 HR data

Thus I'm convinced that either the hrm1g chest band is not accurate, or else the pm5 does not accurately display the readings. No idea what is going on in your case but I just wanted to mention that in the case of my dual BTLE/ANT band the heart rate reported on the PM5 and my phone always matched ...

Re: PM update

I imagine that a large part of the reason the core components don't change is for reproducibility. When you are dealing with maintaining records over time it gets harder with each major change. That doesn't pertain to user friendliness but we do see advances in that area with ErgData and the like th...

I've got the pm5 with a usb stick plugged in - i then uploaded that data via the concept2 utility software on my pc I also run the ergdata on my mobile phone - but there is no upload function on that and nothing I can see about stroke level data no idea what I'm doing wrong here...

Re: How many people use rowpro?

IMO they wasted their time making a Mac version, should have just stuck with the PC version and then developed an Android version only. They now have too many platforms to support for the size of the company and its now killing the development of the product. I wonder what platforms Carl uses?

Re: Rest distance does not register during planned intervals

Thanks for the info HJS. as you said like most people , what I am looking for is the pace for the active part of the session, but in this era of sophisticated algorithm I tought it would have been possible to have both info i.e. pace and also total distance. I'll settle for pace. Using ErgData you ...

FWIW: I've been running iOS 11 for quite awhile (pre-release) and haven't experienced any BT drop outs.

I heard back and it's already been fixed in-house and should be released soon.

Re: ERGdata not longer pairing

Did you try removing the batteries from the PM5 then reinserting and trying again? I had a similar issue the other day though I thought maybe it wasn't giving up the connection to the device my daughter was using a short time before.
