Distance around equator?

Hi,

I was wondering what distance do people use to say they have rowed/circumnavigated around the earth? I assume it is at the equator.

Thanks!!

Re: Join Team Ewe Row!!! for the JVC 2013!

Hi Miriyam! I'm so happy to see the Ewe Row team up and rowing again this year. I really enjoyed rowing with you last year. I'll be watching your progress and rooting for you! I would encourage anybody looking for a team to join the Ewe Row team! They are great at encouraging one another and the she...

Log card onto lanyard?

I'm going to purchase a C2 for my classroom. I'm wanting to put the log cards onto key rings which are attached to lanyards. It should make it more difficult for the kids to loose or misplace the log cards. What's the best way to put the hole in the log cards? Should I drill them? Thanks in advance ...

Traveling, need help locating rowing machine

Hi,

I'll be traveling to Brooklyn Center, MN for a week in mid-June. Anybody know of a gym where I could row while I'm away?

Thanks,

Lisa

Re: Ewe Row 2012

Here it is, the last day! I'm so very pleased with how we have all done!!! Chuck's lost weight, Miryam's got back into rowing regularly, and I've passed my goal of 150,000 meters for this challenge! We had some very inclement weather a couple of weeks ago and so my school was closed down for a week,...

Thanks, Chuck! Your staying very close to my meters has challenged me to work harder, too! :P

Miryam...you're doing great! Keep at it! :D

Alarm or buzzer

I would like to see the PM have an alarm or buzzer that goes off when you have reached the end of a set workout. For example, if rowing a 2K, have it buzz when you reach 0. I am new to rowing and sometimes I don't want to spend the whole workout staring at the PM. The buzzer doesn't have to be annoy...

Re: Ewe Row 2012

Nice job Chuck and Miryam & the Ewe Row! Cheering Squad!!! We're starting to rack up the meters! Yes, I've now hit 105,000 lifetime meters! I now have my sights on making a million meters by the end of August (at the latest!) When I first got my C2, I couldn't see how in the world I could row very m...

Re: Ewe Row 2012

Thanks for the massage! Also, thanks for the Shaun the Sheep clips! They're great! I'd never heard of Shaun before!

I'm hoping to hit 100,000 lifetime meters tomorrow (Saturday). I know that's not very many, but I've only been at this for a month! Such fun!!

Military Challenge

I've only been rowing for three weeks and I'm feeling very motivated by the challenges. I have noticed that there has been a new challenge added for the month of February called the Military Challenge. After reading the "rules" for the challenge, I realized that I can't participate because I have ne...

Re: Ewe Row 2012

Thanks for the explanation, Chuck! Sounds like a great challenge! I'll check out the book you mentioned, too. I've never rowed on the water before. Where I live, it's too windy most of the time to even think about doing such a thing! (The Columbia River Gorge on the Oregon/Washington border...best k...

Hi Chuck!

Glad to be on the same team as you! I've only been rowing three weeks, but it's been so much fun!

What's the 21 day fitness challenge you are doing?

Lisa ;-)
