hip pain

I am a 5 million meter rower. I have been limping and having trouble rowing since October 31st. I am afraid that I overdid the Skeleton Crew Challenge due to lack of time to train, and that faulty form led to my injury. I have pain in the upper quad of my right thigh, potentially Iliopsoas Bursitis....

Travel and Training

I would like to train to row my first marathon on June 21st (as overkill for the Solstice Challenge). I will be traveling for two weeks in march, five days in April, and 5 days in May. Many of the places I am staying have exercise equipment, but (much to my aggravation) do NOT have an Erg available....

Return from Minor Surgery

I had a minor procedure done about two weeks ago. The incision runs for about two inches parallel to my left shoulder blade. My stitches come out this weekend. I was rowing an average of 25,000 or so per week prior to the surgery, and lifting light weights a couple times per week. Any suggestions on...

Re: Looking for a team

Thanks to all of you for getting back to me. I am sorry it took so long for me to reply, the last week has been terribly busy, but at least I've had time to row! I am woefully ignorant about the virtual team concept. Is there a way to determine which team I am best suited for? Is this a one time thi...

Looking for a team

Hi,
I am looking for a team so that I can participate in the Virtual Team Challenge. I have been averaging around 100,000 meters a month. Let me know if you have room for me on your team.
Thanks!
