Alex9026..... Hmm, looking at the question I posed on whether ....the PM display that corresponds to the ride..... is a little confusing. Lets try this... After the exercise/workout is pushed to Strava, the Strava posting will include a picture of the PM5 monitor with ride results listed on 8 lines....

To "alex9026" I agree with your assessment of splits displays for straight "just ride" type activities. But... for intervals, the results display is showing the interval time and the rest time.
