Thanks guys. I appreciate the help. I started today's session without checking and it felt harder than usual. During a rest I noticed it was set higher than usual. I wasn't sure if 1 was faster/easier than 10.

What should you set the damper at for recording PRs?
Just curious if there is a standard damper setting or one that makes it easier for trying to set PR's or submt times for rankings. Thanks.

Otherwise, i would recommend checking out the Pete Plan for beginners (google pete plan). This a simple and well put together training plan that will improve CV fitness (and make you fast on the erg) Thanks. Looks good. I take it to get fast on skis you have to be outside on snow?! Just waiting for...
